Senior Sales Engineer in a European MNC - Engineering Industry

About The Job

You will be responsible for delivering and securing profitable growth with the assigned accounts in the Food & Water Division in line with the Southeast Asia Sales Company targets and objectives. In this role, you are based in Kalimantan to proactively look for and manage leads from market and customers, and to convert them into real business opportunities. This role is an individual contributor role and does not have team reporting to the role.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Sales Engineer (High Speed Separator & Decanter), your main tasks include:

  • To generate more sales leads from the palm oil mills (pabrik kelapa sawit) and able to turn the sales lead into order.
  • Maintaining personal rapport with existing clients to explore new needs and potential sales. Identifies potential new markets and clients in Crude Palm Oil industries.
  • Conduct site inspection and assessment, make technical and sales presentations to clients.
  • Continually update CRM system, meeting report and forecast lists.
  • Work according to the sales and activities plan in alignment with Sales Manager. Coordinates and collaborates sales activities with other department within the company.

Profile

You have about 5 years of Industrial sales working experience, with high level of energy and focus to achieve sales goals. Operation, service, or project engineer within the palm oil mill industry, with good interpersonal skills are also welcomed. Able to travel extensively (up to 70% of the time).
